🚀 MehtaCognition 2.0: Teaching Organizations to Fish—and Cook—with AI

Where We Are—and Why MehtaCognition Is Pivoting

For years we built strategy the artisan way—deep discovery, thick decks, high-touch facilitation.

A few months ago we went all-in on generative AI. The results forced a rethink:

  • Significant savings in services we no longer need.
  • Strategy components that once cost five or six figures now assembled in a matter of minutes—because our AI is trained on MehtaCognition’s IP.
  • A 24-second analysis that pinpointed exactly why two seemingly “perfect” hires failed culture fit.

Consulting must change. Organizations don’t need another fishing expedition; they need the rod, the bait, and a coach at their shoulder. So we’re re-tooling MehtaCognition to provide three things:

  1. Fast-tracked components at dramatically lower cost (because AI now does the heavy lift).
  2. Fully-featured projects that keep their original price tag—but now ship with more deliverables and deeper insight (because the same hours stretch further).
  3. A monthly Coaching Collaborative where heads learn to run AI as their own leadership operating system.

Below is the framework I shared with new heads at the NAIS Institute for New Heads yesterday afternoon—a roadmap for anyone ready to trade the axe for the steam-drill and keep both.

MehtaCognition’s Five Pillars of AI-First Leadership

1. AI as Your Strategic Cognition Partner

Forget “prompt engineering.” I talk to my model the way I talk to a trusted deputy. It remembers my journals, notes, even stray voice memos—then feeds me a nightly “Hot-Take” (one insight, one question, one past memory) and a Sunday reflection letter that shows who I’m becoming as a leader.

Take-away: Strategy time no longer hides on weekends; it rides shotgun every day.

2. Operational Transformation at Scale

Customized research that once cost five figures now takes 15 minutes and a four-figure fee.

Take-away: Small teams gain big-organization capacity; big ones run lean without sacrificing nuance.

3. The Consulting Shake-Up

Why pay outsiders to fish and cook when AI can teach your team both skills? MehtaCognition is cutting fees on certain project components and transitioning our role from deliverable-factory to capacity-builder.

Take-away: Pay experts for judgment, discernment, and culture change—not data wrangling you can automate. (Check out NishantAI, an Always-On Leadership Navigator trained on me and our work at MehtaCognition.)

4. Context Beats Clever Prompts

The secret isn’t flowery wording; it’s the rich context you feed the model. When I loaded thousands of journal entries, the AI pinpointed mis-hires I couldn’t see.Take-away: Curate your inputs. AI will do the pattern-matching; you keep the sense-making.

5. AI-First Leadership, Human-Premium Time

We’ve moved from human-first (pre-2020) to video-first (pandemic era). Next up: AI-first workflows that free leaders to invest human energy where it pays the highest dividend—trust, culture, ethical judgment.

Take-away: Decision fatigue drops; I spend reclaimed hours deepening board partnership and coaching faculty—work no algorithm can replace.

Invitation: The AI Leadership Coaching Collaborative

Beginning September, I’m convening a small cohort of heads (and one chosen admin each) for a live, monthly lab:

  • What you get – playbooks, sandbox prompts, peer case-reviews, and access to my 24/7 digital avatar between sessions.
  • Outcome – by June 2026 you’ll run an AI‐first, human-premium operating system: smarter budgets, lighter workload, deeper strategic focus.
  • Cost – less than one traditional day of onsite consulting.

Interested? Email me or drop “COLLAB” in the comments and I’ll send details.
